According to Koh Sarfaraz, the CEO of Alborz Provincial Water and Wastewater Company, announced the cutting and separation of 164 green space branches from drinking water throughout the province during the first five months of the year, adding: “The measures taken during the recent period have resulted in the storage of more than 756 thousand cubic meters of drinking water.”

Hamid Reza Namdari said: “Currently, there are 1,563 green space branches in the province, the volume of which is consumed solely for green space irrigation, and with the implementation of this plan, a significant portion of drinking water has returned to the subscribers’ consumption cycle.”

He added: “The construction and development of local wastewater treatment plants with the aim of producing sanitary wastewater and using it in the green space irrigation process is on the agenda, and with the support of the provincial-level urban management, we are witnessing significant measures in this regard.”
